Fall, New Beginnings

How fitting is it that our new website is launched in the Fall?  Many feel like the time for starting something new is January but to me the start of a new school season is a great time to get organized, get into a routine and with best intentions take some time for self-care.

How do you stay well in a world with a million chores and unending responsibilities?  If every day we either schedule or attend one activity that is purely for our own well being, I believe it sets us on the right track.  When we take time for something we know is good for us it makes us feel less resentful and more grateful.  And, when we are in a state of gratitude, no matter how small, we can build more appreciation from there.

So what will you do for yourself today?  How about sitting under a tree for 10 minutes in solitude with your favourite ‘good for you’ tea?  Or perhaps you’ll pick up the phone and book yourself a massage?  Taking care of you should be fun….not a chore.

I hope that you will find some excuse this season to take care of the most important person there is…yourself.

Namaste:  The light within me recognizes the light within you.
